This might be so dumb that I am having second thoughts...
Oh and I was extremely happy with the acoustic guitar sound I was able to get on this one.

It's great, I love that disjointed arrangement, and the twangy guitars
Indeed, very nice sound... do you mic that or is it electro-acoustic going through some preamp?
Excellent song and production, I'm always impressed when I hear sparse music... I always tend to overcrowd my songs and go for the wall of sound

The guitar is a Seagull cutaway with a pickup/mic combo you can mix onboard. It's amazing

Lovely, yes
It's hollow and clear, but warm at the same time
I usually have to battle a bit with my guitar sound to get a sufficiently balanced one

I like how the song structure changes all the time, it's evocative of travel in itself
I mean there's a feeling of being on a train
