Quartet For Autumn

It really felt and smelt like autumn today. On a quick trip up to the corner shop to get my usual bottle of plonk, I had to go back in and grab a jacket. The air smelt of burning leaves.
This all triggered memories of many years ago, when I wasn't doing so well, I use to live in a cold, damp bedsit at the other end of the road I live on now. I was pretty broke and had to live simply. I spent most of my time writing music on bits of paper that no one would ever hear. I used to play them all back in my head, maybe playing a part on the keys.
It was good therapy back then, as writing music always has been, for me. In those days my PC didn't even have windows of anything. Just an early version of linux, console only, no GUI. green screen monitor, dot-matrix printer.
If you ever lived in a shared house in those days, I was the guy that used to never leave his room, used to always steal your packets of noodles, used to never pay his rent on time and sum up large amounts on the phone bill due to downloading source code all night on BBS's.
My god it was like being in the 19th century! lol

I used to use a postcript style script to print music score. Can anyone remember what it was?
Sorry I did this with the Synful demo. Somewhere halfway between sample/synth/AI
