@papergoose i actually came back here because someone on facebook referred to it as a graveyard, and seeing as that i am trve kvlt black metal, i figured i'd feel right t home!! @airliner sex in the morning. boop. sex all of the time. beep. i am r.kelly. the r stands for robot. boop. @pierlu i did use a small bit of paulstretch, but it's not really the core of the sound. i used it on a vocal sample so that when i processed it with reaktor, it would be smoother and not as choppy, so it was turned from a 10sec vocal loop to like 25 or 30. nothing too intensive. i did the same thing to some FM arpeggio to add that shimmery rainy sound. so basically two instances of a reaktor thing i made that utilizes the graincloud, and those have three effects chains on sends applied to them and mixed live so i could control what was most dominant at what time during the loop. @Karac i've never been compared to either of those, so that's pretty interesting to me. i get tim hecker and belong and nadja and basinski a lot, but it's still kinda different from those too. thanks for listenerin tho!

I was not insinuating that paulstretch was the only tool used tho! I just recognized the sound of it on a vocal sample ("the"? vocal sample) and i was curious about it. Thanks for explaining, cool to read that it's done live. Cheers yeah, i'm understanding what you mean i just wanted to be clear

I love that jittering texture in the drone. It threatens to get glitchy but never quite shatters. lovely work.
