Tom Phonic - HV9 - Bedroom Live
Release
Author: hardvoltnine on September 18 2006
--> hello,

dear listener,

to whom it may concern,

I woke up at 10am this morning (sunday) and wrote as much music as I could. Now it is 3:25 am (monday) about 1/2 an hour after I finished recording a demo that I will be giving away as a promotional tool to gain the grred people call money and the focus people call fame. Wether or not this actually gains me either of those, I was quite content with the outcome of my day of nothing but music. I also made some home made pasta sauce and some galic bread after mastubating. But that is really all I did today besides drink, smoke and make music.

It feels good, although I don't usually release the music I make for live perfomance, I actually thought (after my F'd my state) that em411 might hear it.

That its what you might call an equipment list.

Please do respond

Cheers,

and to be completely open...the sample is of Don Covay. Pretty good blues man.

man..really enjoying this..

so tell me, did you write all this music in one day, or are you piecing together previosly written stuff?

can you elaborate some on your work methods?

I wrote all of it yesterday except for the last song. That is a song I wrote about 6 months ago and have always enjoyed getting into it.

sorry for the short answer, but work is busy today. I'll answer your other question when I get off, so I can put more thought into it.

thanks for listening adn commenting

dig how the beat turns around. wish the mix were a bit less subtle. more good stuff, though. music and bass too soft. TOO SOFT!

What do yo mean beat turns around??

love it, it's got the funk. i'll have to wait until tomorrow to bring some constructive criticism though, my mind lies shattered on the ground.

Thanks daswesen, why is your mind shattered?

drank too much, is getting better now

i mean that i start this song feeling that the snare is on the four. and then i hear it, after that filly part, on the two and four. in between, it feels like the whole thing is getting re-framed. something to do with the bass.

right on, when i made that beat i was groving to the bassy noise, so i didn't even notice the turn around thing.
