--> I've been trying to do something with this basic groove for a while now. It's an ableton track based on 4 impulses filled with old mixit samples and one of my whackjob beat repeat multi-effects in a send among a few other sends that mess with throughout.

If I make it to round 2, I'll bust out this track at today's battle.

I went overboard on the sends on this mix, but that's what tends to happen at the laptop battles I play... FX-central.

really good mix quality man! wouldn't want to be in a laptop battle with you. ;)

sounds great, i really like when it goes to the halftime feel. there's some really cool transitions in here.

even though it's obvious you're using a lot of effects, it doesn't sound to "effecty" to my ears, very musical.

yes, great mix quality. the track sounds very sentimental to me. lots of delay sounds, but that's a good thing. reminds of the pitterpatter of rain drops.

I just wanted say, too, that the current crop of releases on here sound really, really good. i think EM411 is collectively getting better at writing music.

i really really really like the drum programming. that bass drum had me nodding my little head around. i'm gonna download this and see if can come up with some more intelligent things to say, but no promises.

Very nice man...I hear lil' bit from previous mixits which was nice. I really enjoyed the water droplet feel of the whole track.
