--> well this one is a little more complete then some others i've posted but i still don't think i like it. it just went in its own direction and there was nothing i could do about it. is it worth working on?

shelf it, come back later, see if you like it then. our lowly opinions don't matter.

i like everything but the drums.
and that dumb synth lead

well. I like it!. i dont think it needs any more work, its pretty good how it is. drums could use being a bit louder though.

boc want there sound back.

jk.

it sounds good, but its.. hm m i dont know, too happy or something.

needs some pain.

astroid: good point, i have just watched a film, and come back, and decided i do really like this

jdg: you always hate fart synths.....but maybe your right

psyingo: correct ;)

cc: yup im a sucka for that boc sound, but other than that one tapey bit its not really boc, but yeah...it does need some pain, any advice on how to add someting nasty to it without a complete re-haul?

thanks for your comments x

i hate most synth sounds... they're bad..
but the synth with a farty squelchy attack.. sounds so bad.
every single time.
its like the fat kid in class..

u use cubases right?

i think it's cool sounding. very organic. i like the drums, the texture of the drums is very nice. i guess the weakest part is that little synth line that comes in towards the end, it just sounds a little too clean or something, sticks out a tad.

but overall, i like it quite a bit. the tape loop rocks.

i like. the sounds are good for my ears.
drums repeat a little, but that's the pot calling the kettle black . . . i shouldn't talk...? !! =)

yeah i use cubase. i do see what you all mean, it is a bit stand out, but i dunno, it sounds very 303'y to me and i've always been a fan of the 303

I would change the strings for a simpler wave with a little pitch vlfo and some distortion. The drums could be beaten up a bit more I think. It is a good. Keep going and like astroid said, ignore us all, YOU will know what to do when the time is right my son. BTW, buy an old analogue.

i would buy an analog if i had the cash. i need a laptop first. i used to have an sh-09 which was cool, but had to sell it to buy my gf a birthday present

If it were my track, I would work on the transitions a bit. Maybe gradually flow into them, or do the opposite and shock the listener a bit. At the moment, they seem ambiguous.

I like the sounds and the chord progression, though.

i've put version 2 up now so if anyone reckons its an improvement let me know x

better drums.

no more lame synth! :D

actually the lame synth is still there...just very quiet
