thats quite common, i think most cheese n' onion flavoured crisps include animal rennet as an ingredient whilst meaty flavours like beef and bacon won't, mccoys cheese n'onion used to be the same but i'm pretty sure that they're now veggie friendly

strangely enough many cheeses contain rennet too, thats why you can buy veggie-friendly cheese.

It's not an ingredient though, just part of the "clarification" process that some beers use.
