I don't think it's a joke. I think this guy is very, very much in denial and totally cut off from himself.

lol, "C.H.O.P.S. away the gay". First of all I think Oscar is talking about suffering in general that all people experience. Second he's equating the hate that people have shown towards him and taken that to mean his idea of God hates him. This guy is going to create a lot of suffering for himself and others. Maybe he'll figure it out one day though. And something tells me he's going to become quite the internet phenomenon.

yeah, ok but oscar wilde is nothing like a decent role model for the "reformed gay". oscar went on trial for basically sodomy and was put away (this is just what i read tonight, so i hope someone corrects me if i'm wrong). this ruined him. he did convert to catholicism, but it was on his deathbed, in a near vegetative state. he didn't "see the errors of his ways in jail". afaik.

2) In the video he looks more like a smirking indie kid who grew an ironic mustache than a legit religious wackjob.
3) He registered for his domains via DomainsByProxy. Only pervs and hoaxers use DomainsByProxy, and this guy isn't a perv.

I'm not convinced. I'm leaning toward it being real, if not just for all the effort that went into it. The guy has like 4 websites, so who would spend that much time and effort to make a hoax video and all the websites?

I don't think he's deranged either, probably just seriously misguided...unless it is fake and a total joke, in which case very well played!

Also supposedly the band list was sent in by other people to him. I don't think he has a clue as to what those bands really are.

I think it's going to take someone emailing him to find out for sure what's up. I really want to know. I mean, what if it is real and we're in store for more future masterpieces from Evening Service?

In other homosexual/Christian/WTF news. I watched a documentary today called "Hand" of God, yes that's the actual title. It's about a man's struggle to cope with a priest's sexual abuse and scandal within the Catholic church over multiple abuse cover ups. It starts getting really interesting later on in the film

Hmm, interesting. You know something else that I noticed was when I snagged the .flv file from the break.com website which hosts the video, which the evening service site linked to, the file was titled: homophobic christian rock. I thought it was strange for that to be the title, but I didn't really think too much of it.
