i was about to setup a new liveset for the summer and some strange things are happening with my faderfox lv2.
when i choose the tracks in live with the shift-button and the corresponding track-number every now and then (about every 6th to10th time) a random clip gets triggered.
it didn't do this before. i'm really sure, as i rehearsed the set quite a bit the last days. it just started yesterday.
has anybody ran into this problem in their past? any help? i also contacted the producer of faderfoxes, dunno how fast i will get a response there.
i can post the liveset without the clips if needed.
any help is really appreciated.
specs are:
macbook pro, ableton live 7.05, the faderfox is connected through my axiom 49

just tried live 7.03 and it seems not to be broken there...weird

ok. i talked with them and it turns out, that it was a bug in the firmware. i got a replacement-chip and exchanged it.
everything back to normal

I honestly couldn't think of why that was happening. I've got some FFs, but not the LV2 unfortunately (just LV1). Glad you got it sorted anyway.

I'm having weird stuff happen with my faderfox -- sometimes when I trigger an effect, all the clips stop. Bizarre -- can't seem to find a way to reliably repeat this either. :/

have youn tried contacting mathias from faderfox?
it sounds quite similar tomine, and with mine it turned out that it was a bug in the firmware chip, that caused that.
just give him a shot, maybe he knows.

I'll send him a mail and see what happens -- it'd be nice to be able to recreate the problem, as it only happens every now and then, say every 20mins of tweaking. I'll see what he says anyway, cheers.

I'm using the templates provided on the FF site at the moment, as I'm still using Live 5 (if I understand you correctly -- are you asking about the native FF remote support that I think is in v7?). Everything seems okay, just now and then everything stops.

yeah, i was asking about the live v7 support. can't help you on the problem you have.
