hello one and all!
i am eager to put on an outdoor blues spectacular this summer. im my brain there is a beautiful gazebo, lots of fantastic muscians, and beer on tap, in a lovely field. how do i go about aquiring a licence for this sort of event in the UK? any ideas? anybody have any experience with this sort of thing?

it will probably be on a place called merton farm where i live, they have events there often, music festivals, beer festivals, vintage car shows etc....

if theres other events thats good.
basically licensing is through the council - but also fire and police will get involved and look over your event.
its complex. but temporary events can be licensed. which is nice.

any idea of the cost of such a licence? is it relatively easy to obtain at short notice, i.e 2 months?
